Teaching English can even be more fun going to different countries and settling down. However, not everyone can endure the strenuous process of getting a visa. 1. China

Known as the world’s largest population, it’s no surprise that China is leading in the demand for online English teachers. This demand seems outrageous that there are now online platforms for Chinese students to virtually learn. English teachers who teach the Chinese market also get rewarding bonuses and incentives in return. Lastly, you don’t have to be an English wizard to get started here which makes it the perfect opportunity for teachers with little to no experience. 

Average Rate

The hourly rate is between $14 to $20 but it could get higher depending on your performance.

Requirements

As mentioned earlier, you don’t need to have extensive experience in order to start teaching for the Chinese. You can have any sort of experience (may it be a formal or informal mentoring) but you must at least meet the minimum requirement which is not that hard to attain. 2. Japan

Popular for its people and culture, Japan also has a high-demand of English teachers. While on its continuous goal for a progressive economy, Japanese also seek to learn and be fluent in English. Setting the rate aside, working with these Japanese students is also a great experience for some. While the competition in the online teaching industry is tough, Taiwanese students add up to the market which gives more opportunities for online job-seekers. UAE, known to many, is a very wealthy country and there’s also a demand for online English teachers. The pay here is also a good deal for most online English tutors if we add up the base rate with all the possible incentives you can get if you perform well.

Requirements

The requirements, in exchange for a high paying job, are also demanding like an advanced college degree, at least two years teaching experience with teaching certifications.
